Changing a user name, internet alias, or password
You can change a user's name, internet alias, or password at any
time. You'll typically need to change a password because a user
has forgotten it.

To change names, aliases, or passwords, follow these steps: |

Open the Web & File Admin program, if it's not already open. |

Choose Show Users & Groups List from the Web & File Admin program's
Users menu. |

The Users & Groups List window appears. |

Double-click the user you want to edit in the Users & Groups List
window. |

The user's User window appears. |

To change the user's name, select the current name in the Name
text box and type a new name. |

To change the user's password, select the current password in
the Password text box and type a new password. |

To change the user's Internet alias, select the current Internet
alias in the Internet Alias text box and type a new Internet alias. |

Click Save. |

The new information is saved in the Users & Groups Data File. |

Be sure to tell the user you've changed his or her name, password,
or alias. |
